Come join us and the Dufala Brothers this Friday at the Philadelphia Museum of Art for DUDUFALALA!

In-Gallery Artist Intervention

DUDUFALALA
In the spirit of art history’s creative pranksters and the 100th anniversary of Duchamp’s infamous submission of a urinal to the 1917 armory exhibition, the Dufala brothers poke fun at the status enjoyed by collected art and artists by hiding contemporary objects, personal belongings and small sculpture in the museums galleries. A dada inspired scavenger hunt in and among the works of art throughout the museum, this intervention juxtaposes the pedestrian and the rare, intention and accident and comments on the public use of cultural space.
